WELCOME TO MOTEL MEXICOLA

Mei 21, 2016
Now it's time for Mexican! Who's ready?
Motel Mexicola is a mexican restaurant which is located in Seminyak, Bali.
What makes this restaurant so catchy in my eyes? Besides their unique name and decorations, the food is good as well!
I ordered everything here because I want to try it all and the best thing is they are offering a good and delicious plus fantastic kind of food with an affordable price.

The moment I stepped foot into Motel Mexicola I feel like I had walked onto the set of a Quentin Tarantino film. That feeling is amazing, trust me.
Decked out with melted candles, crucifixes, cacti and coloured tiled table tops you’d almost think you were in Mexico. Whilst the props certainly added to the atmosphere I was curious about the food naturally. The menu is wide and offers the usual Mexican fare, however I have to say I was impressed by the food on offer.
To start off, the frozen Margaritas were delicious and hit the holiday “g spot” perfectly. The “tostaditas” that followed were basically little portions of fried tortillas topped with raw tuna and mayo or slow cooked pork. These were devoured in seconds!
Going into Motel Mexicola, you’ll be greeted with a shrine, a very cool one that is. Somehow, the owner had some crazy idea to put on some pictures of random people and melt big colorful candles on the walls.
The result is a place where everybody will take a picture of. It’s so cool. I want to know about the people on the shrine, so I asked them, who the hell is the funky looking dude? According to the staff, each owners always gave different explanations.
My favourite one is:
“He is a friend of (the owner’s) grandfather, who is a mafia.” Now that’s badass!
From now on I am going to show you how's Motel Mexicola looks like. Real quick!

I know the Seminyak area is crowded with an abundance of restaurants but if you’re looking for something a little different I can highly recommend Motel Mexicola.
The service is slick, fast and attentive. Kids are welcome and they make some of the best Margaritas on this side of the equator.

SINGAPORE BOUND

April 22, 2016

I spent 3 days at singapore for a short visit cause my 'dear' sister seems to still be unable to accept the reality of her new surrounding even after a year of studying abroad. She has literally been infecting my mind with her endless list of 'reasons why you WILL regret studying abroad like me' for the longest time, and she tends to over exaggerate her discomfort it's kind of working. I used to brush her off but now I'm honestly terrified for my time to leave home so thanks a lot sis.

Seriously though, I don't get or understand her 'pain'. I mean yeah, I bet the whole school and academic pressure must be overwhelming but Singapore is great man. You can go out with hot pink hair half shaved, paint on a unibrow and people will barely glance at you but here, if you so much show a bit of skin, people be losing their manners and straight up whisper and stare as if you have 3 heads. Not to mention how different shopping is there especially with the granted access of the MRT. You can spend a peaceful time revising for a chemistry exam at Starbucks without anyone interrupting your concentration but here, its hard to get out without meeting around 15 people you know. But what can I say, when you share a room with an obnoxious little sister who sings at the top of her lungs, clutter the room with her junk and dirty clothes and stay up till 1 am with all the lights on for 17 whole years you're bound to miss her presence *winky face*

And I'm also here to share my outfits for the 3 days I'm in singapore. I hope you guys will love this and yeah you guys should love this. HAHA, anyways I bought a lot of useless things in typo that I will share with you guys when I have time and I want to, because It's kinda useless.

I look tired and dried up because I spent the whole last night bawling my eyes out and getting 0 sleep. But I regret nothing, cause it's worth it. So, this is the end of my stories I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I am. ⎯ Natasha Debora

BLANC & ECLARE

April 21, 2016

I recently read a beautiful quote by Homaro Cantu:
"Flowers bloom and so are you"

It's so clear that you have to cherish everyone. I think that's what I get from these quote, that every soul is to be cherished, that every flower is to be bloom. I hope that you will go out and let stories happen to you, hopefully it's a good stories and that you will work with them, water them with your tears and your laughter until they bloom, till you yourself burst into bloom.

As you can see what i'm trying to say is: Ask yourself, what makes you happy and what's not, cherish everyone because everyone deserve that. Leave what makes your tears come out and surround yourself with the good things that will make you laugh like a little kid without any hesitation.

This photoshoot was taken weeks ago while I'm still preparing my blog. This is a spontaneous photoshoot with a minimum preparation and my own best-friend took this amazing shots. Why are we using flowers with diamonds under my eyes? Because you have to remember that every tears that come out from your beautiful eyes has to be worth it, your tears is not just a tears it's a diamond that you have to take care of. And last but not least, if you've found what makes you bloom I hope we all have the courage to pursue it.
